Every plan supports hotspot at no extra cost: connect the iPad, the laptop and the family's phones to the same eSIM.

FAQ

Everything you want to know before you buy

Most phones from 2019 onward support eSIM, as long as they're carrier-unlocked. Fastest way: tap «Check my phone» and know in 30 seconds, or dial *#06# — if an EID shows up, you're ready.

Pinglo Flex (1GB to 50GB) runs on docomo at full speed with no throttling until the data runs out or the validity ends. Unlimited plans (any length from 1 to 30 days) give you a daily allowance at top speed — Go 2GB, Plus 3GB, Max 5GB or 10GB — and after that you stay online with no cap at a lower speed (256 Kbps on Go, 1 Mbps on Plus, 384 Kbps on Max) until the allowance resets the next day.

After payment your QR code arrives by email within minutes and also shows on your order page. On Wi-Fi, open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM and scan it. No app needed, and a manual code is included just in case.

Pinglo is data-only, and that's all you need: call over WhatsApp, FaceTime or any calling app. Your home SIM stays on with your number for calls, bank messages and verification codes.

Top up the same eSIM from your order page, 7% off — the new data or days apply instantly, no new QR code.

Absolutely. Payments go through Techrar, a Saudi payments platform, over an encrypted connection with 3D Secure, and Pinglo never stores your card details. Pay with mada, Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay.

Ideally a day or two before you fly, on your home Wi-Fi. Your days only start on your first connection in Japan, so you don't lose a single one.

Yes, all your apps work as usual: Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp and maps.

Our team follows up on your order directly and contacts you. If the eSIM can't be issued, you get a full refund.

Of course. Pinglo serves travellers from across the Gulf: you see prices in your currency at an approximate rate, pay in Saudi riyals by Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay (and mada in Saudi Arabia), and the eSIM reaches your email wherever you are.

Yes. The Pinglo eSIM is independent of your carrier and works on any unlocked eSIM phone, whatever your main SIM. Keep your main line on to receive bank messages and verification codes.

No. Your name, email and mobile number are enough; we don't ask for an ID or passport.

Roaming bundles are usually charged per day or for a small allowance, and bills can surprise you. With Pinglo you pick a plan for your whole trip at a fixed price you know before you fly, and top it up at 7% off if you need more.
